Operation Reconnect Police
From Non-Violent Uprising
About
On March 15, we wrote a letter to the Boston police thanking them for their services and cooperation at the protest. We would like to do it again.
Letter .01alpha
Dear Police Commissioner Ed Davis, Captain William Evans, Superintendent Daniel Linskey, and The Entire Boston Police Department
Once again, thanks to the actions of the Boston Police Department, the group Anonymous has been able to protest against policies of the Church of Scientology that we find destructive in peace and safety.
Anonymous would like to formally thank you, and the officers in your command, for their professionalism and impartiality at the protest. Your presence on April 12 was much appreciated. Thank you for advising us on how to speak freely without disturbing the peace or inconveniencing the public, and for helping us safely cross streets while we marched. Your presence at the address in Boston Commons was also greatly appreciated.
Naturally, we cannot disclose our names because of the church's history of litigation and harassment, but we hope that our anonymity will not detract from our gratitude.
Enclosed is copy of the article from "The Radar", which features the anonymous movement against the cult. We hope that this will shed some more light on we why are fighting this battle.
We wish to formally thank you once again, and look forward to many more successful demonstrations with the cooperation of your department.
Sincerely,
Anonymous
