This guide is a well written introduction to using IRC. I suggest you read it, then join us online. We suggest using Firefox as your browser, and Chatzilla as your client.

on 4/6/08 the #BostonRaid channel came under a spam attack.
step 1
Ops will enact anti-spam measures such as /flood [<numberoflines> <seconds> <pausetime>] and /mode #bostonraid +j <joins>:<seconds>
If in the extremely unlikely event this doesn't work, proceed to step 2

OPs will set #BostonRaid to invite only. Then, if you would like to join the channel, please send a query to the any of the following people:

- Sarcasmic
- bluewiggirl
If you don't know how to query someone, this is the command:
/query <nick><message>
channel operators, this is how you invite someone:
/invite <nick> #BostonRaid
