A Proposal
We should start organizing and making some epic banners and signs. Really make something flashy and well composed, something more than just markers on a posterboard that we made on the sidewalk (though those are good fun themselves). I (plytheman) already have an idea for some epic banners. If anyone is interested in getting together somewhere to work on these then let me know and we can meet up some time in the coming weeks. Another idea I had was to make a big sign that could sit in the back of a pick-up truck if anyone has a truck to volunteer. Thoughts are on hiring a truck with a sign, but this could be a lot cheaper. Again, more discussion needed. If you are interested, get in touch with me in the IRC (irc.partyvan.fm #bostonraid) or just edit this page.

Potential Projects
- Banners Long pieces of paper and some paint, not too tricky. I have some ideas for tall banners too supported by some plastic piping or something else lightweight that we could take apart and reassemble. Also, we could spraypaint a big banner on some fabric or platic banner with stencils. A few years ago I made a big stencil for a friend's party that worked out well, nothing too tricky. All that is needed is some paint, time, and space.
- Mobile SignSome plywood and 2x4s assembled to fit in the bed of a pick up truck. Again, it is possible to paint this on and keep it clean looking. I dont have a pick up to volunteer for this, but it would be a world cheaper than renting one of those mobile billboards. (warning anyone donating a truck for this project will be exposing their license plate to the scilons and therefore risking them taking actions against you like gregg. a rental truck would be a better idea but a little expensive - MrBones)
- Kites If I remember right, all you need for this is some paper, wooden dowels, and string. Seriously, who wouldn't want to make a kite then go fly it on the Charles?
